Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Tesco Brewing Awards winner.
"This fresh, light, award-winning beer delights with its grassy, crisp taste and zippy floral aroma. Flavours of white grape and melon develop to reveal a subtle bitterness... a taste that is quintessentially English. Perfect with chicken and pasta - and exquisite with fresh Dorset fly-fished trout."

Very nice beer! Got this as a gift from visiting Englishman Vinnie. Thanks man! Poured with a nice head that mostly faded and some lace. Clear gold color. Light hoppy aroma. Seems fresh. Good malty flavor offset by american style hopping. Light body. Session beer. Wish I could get more. Good finish!

Very intriguing. There’s nothing remotely ’quintessentially English’ about this, but I like it immediately. Pale gold pour with well-retained white head. The nose has an evocative whiff of the Belgian about it, with an unmalted barley fruitiness reminiscent of Vlaskop, Haecht or Witkap Pater Singel. Sniffs of pineapple, grape, melon and spice. Always that nibble of ginger lurking in the background. Flavour doesn’t quite realise its promise, but is still a quenching balance of tangy citrus, perfumey floweriness and hop biitterness. Embarrasses rival brewers’ attempts to capture the refreshing fruitiness of a Wit in a beer that doesn’t completely abandon its hoppy English heritage. Tasty, unusual and refreshing.

Bottle. Golden, hoppy and slightly perfumed. Bitterness appears after a while. Interesting and refreshing. Taste profile on the label that is fairly accrate and obviously aimed at a more sophisticated beer drinker. Nice.

It pours a sparkling warm golden with a choppy white head. The aroma is quite unique. Lots of light fruit notes like peach, pineapple and pear mixed with a floral element and bit of caramel and golden toast. In the mouth, it starts with a moderate caramel sweetness and a lot of carbonation for an ale of this type. As it progresses, the fruit flavors grow big and vibrant and then subside giving way to a dry finish with a slight herbal bitterness at the end, leaving the fruit notes to linger.

Clear golden with a nice foamy head. An aroma of citrusflowers and hops. A fresh flavor with citrus and hops. Not many notes of malt.
