This is a delightful beer that is the closest to a cask taste in the bottle that I have tasted in a long time. Rich taste with a potent aroma and palate that comes with good English brews. Goes well with a good Curry!

Dark bitter that has a great head. Banana and caramel aroma, and a caramel and well hopped flavour with a dry finish. A very good strong flavoured beer.

Bottled. Dear me what a lovely beer. At the time of drinking, early Sunday evening, I had to confer with SilkTork, the only living man at the time to have rated the beer, of this beers origin. After some discussion here it is. And what a pleasant rate it is. Bright golden colour with a white foamy, dissipating head. Big hop and elderflower aromas, it reminded me immediately of Badger Champion?? Lovely smooth drinking beer.

Bottled. Amber colour, good white lasting head and moderate condition. Good hoppy aroma with caramel and biscuits, reminded me of Newcy Brown. Quite soft and sweet in the mouth with malty caramel, butterscotch and good oily hop flavour that coats the mouth. Finish is malty with hints of hop lingering.

Bottle. Dry taste with a pleasant aroma. Slight sweetness appears after a while which lingers for some time. An above average bitter.
