Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised.
The light, refreshing character of our award-winning golden ale is distinguished by its subtle elderflower aroma, reminiscent of a summer’s evening. Champion is particularly rewarding when served chilled.

Crisp, summers beer, slightly grassy with nice hop character, goes down very well especially with food. Nice.

50cl bottle poured into a pint glass. Sparkling copper with a very small diminishing head. Nose is fresh fruit. Flavor is sweet malt and spice. Light body, medium carbonation. Crisp, lightly bitter finish with some lingering notes of spice and biscuit. Nice refreshing beer.

Clear orangish gold color with a small white head. Nice lacing. The smell caught me off guard a little because it was different than anything else I’ve rated so that was cool. It was a candied citrus smell with a ton of spices. Taste was like the smell but I tasted a bit of honey also. Left a medium lasting bitterness on the palate that was pleasant along with the honey. Really enjoyed this and I think this is definately underrated.

This bottled brew from JSquire at a rating party poured a large sized head of frothy large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma contained soft candy and malty notes. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and sharp hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

500ml bottle. A nice little surprise this one as for some reason I didn’t expect much. Strong solid white head that left good lacing on the glass. Vibrant golden orange colour with a hint of citrus in the aroma that is hidden under some earthy hop notes. Fresh clean taste with a good balance of bitterness and sweetness that is lively in the mouth.
