Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Tesco Drink award 2008 Winner.
To entice laborours at harvest time, land owners would offer the promise of a hearty meal and ale, the latter often having drastic effects on the harvest - hence the demand for less potent ales, providing refreshment without compromising the quality of flavour. Harvesters ale is a full flavoured fruity refreshing ale - but with a lighter touch

Bottle from Tesco. Pours a golden colour with a thin white head. Very effervescent. Initial aroma is a blast of perfumy hops, leading to a slightly strange meatyness in the background. The highly perfumed aroma extends in to the taste and is backed up by a fine biscuity malt and some fruit. Despite the heavy hopping the overall bitterness is kept rather low as to not overpower what is a light malt base. The low alcohol content is not immediately obvious but it feels increasingly watery as you move down the glass. One of the better Badger beers.

Bottle. Medium high fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear golden body. Mild sweet apple pear banana malt aroma. Flavor as the aroma. Mild and yet tasty however with little hops bitterness but with a long sweet aftertaswte. Low carbonation.

Toffee accented ale, quite buttery. A little too plastic with an amber malt and a robust dry bitterness. Pulls above its weight.

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Well... I’ve only had one beer for TWENTYFOUR days now (lost 3 kg, so it’s good). Now I start out mildly with a 2,5 % English ale...
Pours a great, slightly coppery golden. A small white creamy head reluctantly forms and goes fast.
Aroma has surprising power, mixing wet malts with grassy hops, some lemons and peach. High carbonation, manages to feel thin, but not overly so. Flavour is mild, not much maltiness. There is a good dose of hops though, pine, citric and grassy. It is not perfect and could do with some more balance, but it’s refreshing and lively.

Bottled. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head, and lots of fizz in the glass. The aroma has some peach and some cardboard. An odd jif lemon taste in the mouth. Some grass notes and a little citric hopping. Not all that pleasant, even given what it’s trying to be. Just needs oomph in all quarters.

Golden with an OK head. The aroma has light notes of butter, straw and malt. The flavour has notes of butter, bisquit, malt, butterscotch and a light, dry bitterness. It’s an OK low-alcohol beer, but the flavour is a bit weird.
