Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Tesco Drink award 2008 Winner.
To entice laborours at harvest time, land owners would offer the promise of a hearty meal and ale, the latter often having drastic effects on the harvest - hence the demand for less potent ales, providing refreshment without compromising the quality of flavour. Harvesters ale is a full flavoured fruity refreshing ale - but with a lighter touch

Getting a slight whiff of flowery hops. Honey colour with a small off white head. Sweet and syrupy, fruity with an odd rotten veg aftertaste. Nit keen but was ok for a low alcohol beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet and citrusy nose. Light body with sweet malts and again a little citrus. Very subdued bitterness. An easy drink. 100908

Bottle. Very clear golden appearance. Malty with an amazing amount of flavour considering its low strength. Very refreshing and summery. Don’t be put off by its low strength. This is a very pleasant beer.

Bottled. A golden beer with at hin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes skunky notes of caramel, lacks malt. The flavor is dry and sweet - the dryness stemming from lack of malt, but also with light notes of spices and elderflowers.
