Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 1, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of fruit. The flavor is sweet with light notes of grapefruit juice - quite extraordinary for a beer - and not really me, but it makes it very refreshing. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 10, 2006 [Cask at GBBF] Lightly hazy golden. Fruity with light touch of ginger. Pleasantly sparkling light mouthfeel. Citric. Some light touchs of vegetables in the finish. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 18, 2006 Cask at GBBF 2006. Slight haze/gold, no head. Badger yeast citrus aroma. It’s a yeasty and ctruis beer with a bit of elderflower. Similar to their other beers. Fruit is quite juicy. It’s alright. chriso (4420), London, Greater London, England Nov 4, 2006 Cask (handpump), GBBF, August 2006. Hazy golden colour. Light citrus hop aroma. More of the same on the palate. Something a little spicy in there too. Slightly chalky, mineral mouthfeel. Decent enough. Don’t know whether this is a one-off or a new seasonal as Badger don’t say anything about it on their website (which does not look to be too regularly updated).
imdownthepub (4247), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Mar 28, 2008 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale gold with white head, hazed. Sweetish, malty bitter, quite lagery in character, some grapefruit / pineapple in the flavour, but little on the finish. Not full enough for me, but not without some merit.
