A warming malt aroma. A grainy malt flavour that becomes a richer caramel through the swallow. Quite a hoppy finish, giving it a drying character. A complex beer and quite enjoyable. Sweet bitter flavor. leaparsons (4057), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Apr 26, 2008 Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are dry biscuit and mellow lemon with apricot and hints of sulphur. Flavours are dry and yeasty with lemon. Spicy and peppery hops with some floral notes. Lacks depth but refreshing. Gentle malt aroma. Grainy malt taste with some citrus fruits. Some bitterness. Quite good, if a little warm.
