cask @ st stephens tavern, westminster. Hops, sweet malt aroma. Pours a amber beer with floating sediment. Soft mouth, fresh, sweet and hoppy. Nice.

Jul 12, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Watford during recent international beer fest. Dark gold with a thick creamy off-white head. A warming malt aroma. A grainy malt flavour that becomes a richer caramel through the swallow. Quite a hoppy finish, giving it a drying character. A complex beer and quite enjoyable.

Jun 5, 2008 Cask at Prince Edward. Clear amber colour with small creamu white mostly lasting head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet bitter flavor.

Apr 26, 2008 Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are dry biscuit and mellow lemon with apricot and hints of sulphur. Flavours are dry and yeasty with lemon. Spicy and peppery hops with some floral notes. Lacks depth but refreshing. Quite thick on the palate.
