wheresthepath (274), Buckinghamshire, England Oct 5, 2008 [500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s Reading] Looks like a cheap lager - gold, moderate white head, and lots of visible carbonation, although the fizz is actually about right in the mouthfeel. Smells light, floral and very fresh - very tempting. Tastes initially rather too bitter and hoppy for my liking, but this quickly lifts to reveal a delicate floral and melon flavour beer. With a good balance of bitterness and sweetness, this is light and refreshing, yet tasty and intriguing; the more I drank this beer, the more I liked it. peter48er (82), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Sep 10, 2008 50cl bottle. Golden with a good white head. Hops and citrus fruits dominate the aroma. In the mouth was quite a sweetness balanced with a pleasing bitterness and some floweriness. Overall a reasonably decent beer from the dependable, and often experimental, Badger portfolio. tarjei (1369), Bryne, Norway Jul 19, 2008 50 cl bottle, bougth at Tesco, Liverpool.
