Bottle, from Tesco. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Pleasant sweet melon and gentle earthy hoppiness. Full and floral in the mouth with some underlying hoppiness and some underlying burnt caramel notes, gentle bitter sweet earthiness in the finish with more lingering sweet caramel.

[500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s Reading] Looks like a cheap lager - gold, moderate white head, and lots of visible carbonation, although the fizz is actually about right in the mouthfeel. Smells light, floral and very fresh - very tempting. Tastes initially rather too bitter and hoppy for my liking, but this quickly lifts to reveal a delicate floral and melon flavour beer. With a good balance of bitterness and sweetness, this is light and refreshing, yet tasty and intriguing; the more I drank this beer, the more I liked it.

50cl bottle. Golden with a good white head. Hops and citrus fruits dominate the aroma. In the mouth was quite a sweetness balanced with a pleasing bitterness and some floweriness. Overall a reasonably decent beer from the dependable, and often experimental, Badger portfolio.

Bottle. Golden with an off-white foam. Aromas are very hoppy and floral - typical Badger, really. Peach with resinous citrus. Flavours are caramel malts with soft floral and spicy notes. Sweet hops on the finish. Buttery on the palate. Decent.
