hughie (2412), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 19, 2008 Copper amber, white head. Sweet fruity aroma of raspberry, kiwi, blackcurrant. Taste is light , sweet and sugary, appealing at first, becoming cloying. Some back of the throat malt is discernable. A little bitterness. Interesting but, in my opinion, ultimately unsuccessful.

Pours a nice, clear golden with a small, creamy, white, film head. Aroma has lots of raspberries, caramel and some doughy malts. High carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly dry, some good raspberry notes. Very drinkable. MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 9, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle that Sim (being the little sweetheart that she is, and always looking out for rates) picked up from somewhere, we know not where.
Orange amber colour with a bitty head that is typical of pasteurised English bottled beer. Obvious toffee apple in the aroma that, although pleasant in a reminiscent type way, is heavily artificial. Lots of other sweet fruity notes but the apples take centre stage. More of the same in the flavour but some strawberry notes come through giving way to a strong blueberry and malty finish with some late bitterness. Actually strangely drinkable and boarderline pleasant. certainly not the worst I have had from Badger. Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 31, 2008 Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy combined with notes of elderberry flowers and blueberries. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, muffins, raspberries, and bread, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks to fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.
