MrAleman (112), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 10, 2008 Drinkable, quite a full flavour, fairly decently hopped, but just misses the boat somewhere. shoestring (168), larkhall, Scotland Jan 14, 2008 Some caramel came through. Malt present. Standard and dependable fare.
Nice bitter ale. joe1961_2 (425), camberley, Surrey, England Oct 14, 2007 Bottled. Pours a real amber colour with a soft head. The beer is smooth with a hoppy favour with a soft malt substructure. Pleasant but not a stand out.
Maria (4418), Thisted, Denmark May 1, 2007 Dark amber, nice head. The aroma is both hoppy and malty. The flavour is quite full and smooth with brief sweetness and a refreshing bitterness. It has notes of roasted malt and the brew has a nice balance and is quite charming. faroeviking (4414), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jan 28, 2007 Bottle. Amber with a large beige mostly diminishing head. Aroma of some malt and hops. Moderate bitter hoppy flavour with a light roasty maltiness, some sweetness. Moderate bitter finish. A tasty English ale.
