Drinkable, quite a full flavour, fairly decently hopped, but just misses the boat somewhere.

Some caramel came through. Malt present. Standard and dependable fare. Nice bitter ale.

Bottled. Pours a real amber colour with a soft head. The beer is smooth with a hoppy favour with a soft malt substructure. Pleasant but not a stand out.

Dark amber, nice head. The aroma is both hoppy and malty. The flavour is quite full and smooth with brief sweetness and a refreshing bitterness. It has notes of roasted malt and the brew has a nice balance and is quite charming.

Bottle. Amber with a large beige mostly diminishing head. Aroma of some malt and hops. Moderate bitter hoppy flavour with a light roasty maltiness, some sweetness. Moderate bitter finish. A tasty English ale.
