Full and warming bitter, relatively dry and hoppy but with a background sweetish fruitiness. Aromas are toffee malts with mellow berries and earthy hops. Fruity. Flavours are sweet berries with floral notes. Light malts with a dry, bitter finish. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Mar 25, 2008 Bottle. Overly sweet with lots of toffee, fortunately there are some toasty flavours to provide extra interest. Slight boiled bottled flavours to the malt, hops not noticeable other than as a bit of mild bitterness in the finish.
