Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Seeking out the treasures of the countryside and making the most of local ingredients is an art shared by Badger and the wily poacher. Badger's Poacher's Choice captures unique rural flavours in a smooth, dark ale enhanced by a touch of liquorice for spicy sweetness and damson for a soft, subtly fruity taste. A gutsy ale that's worth tracking down.

Bottled. Crimson coloured beer, pours with a fine, lacy white head. Musky, field berry arouma. Sweat with toffee’d finish. Slightly too sweat for my liking.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear, deep amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Distinct aroma of blueberries. Medium body, sweetish fruity with some caramel. Distinct blueberry notes – really reminds me of a blueberry muffin! 220808
