Suttree (2336), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 20, 2004 Well, ther’s nothing especially wrong with it, and there are no specifically bad flavors. It’s just, well, bland. The words "mild", "mellow", "understated" and "subtle" figure way to prominently in my notes. JCW (1262), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 31, 2004 Just had this back to back with the Southern Tier IPA and it is much less hoppy. Orange-yellow color, moderate white head. Aroma is more sweet than hoppy. Aroma of sweet malt(crystal) and pine. Flavor is pretty sweet. Sweet finish. Volgon (2462), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 1, 2004 Brewtopia 2004: Hazy orange with a thin white head. Spicy pine resin aroma, full thick fizzy body. Very bitter throughout. A nice IPA. willblake (1942), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2004 Brewtopia’04. Hazy, heady beer. Again, a very bready, doughy smelling brew, some raisin aromas. Flavor was grainy, some pine, salt at the end, Could stand to be a bit more bitter. SpringsLicker (1824), Tennessee, USA Jun 25, 2004 This produced a huge, long lasting, creamy, off white head over a muddy, orange-amber colored beer. The aroma was too bready for my liking coming from an IPA. Hints of Apricot in the aroma too. The flavor got back on track a little better, but overall this just misses the mark somewhat.
