Thick lacing pour with a bubby, creamy white head. Orangeish to light copper color. Bit of a musty/malty aroma to it - not grapefruity like some hoppy IPAs - but not unpleasant. Flavor - good hoppiness to it - not so much to make you grit your teeth - but the Cascades definitely are pumping through. Overall, not bad for a beer I picked up in a health food store (really the only reason I was in there).

Nothing outstanding about this IPA but at least there are quality ingredients used. This a pretty much a basic California IPA, with the noticable and perhaps over-used Cascade hops. Nice overall beer none the less and nothing bad to say about it. I think I;ll try the bluebeery next.

Appearance suffers from a lame label, but points for the 22 oz bottle, the rafting ice cream foam, and the deep citrine brew. The aroma is the standard west coast IPA Cascade hop assault, bordering on being uric. Smells like when I open a sealed pak of hops to brew at home. In-your-face hop leading edge, quickly turning semi-sweet and plummy, then drying out. Sweet on the lips. Long, mild hop finish.

Clear copper in color with a small light frothy head. A fruity, pineapple, aroma with hops and malt. Initially bitter with hops and then a malt flavor. A light to medium body. Not any real depth, but drinkable.

I was pretty disappointed in this beer. It is different. I was hopping for more of a garlic and onion flavor. Light clear browncolor with a decent sized white head. smells fruity. Strong taste at first, but no aftertaste.
