| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2004 draught at brewtopia - I quite liked this one - amber/brown in color, not much head - bready aroma, with moderate hops and some spice and herbal notes - same with the flavor - quite a malty IPA, but the sweetness is balanced well with the hops and biscuit/bread-like aspects of this ale (they’re not kidding when the say "well bread beer") - I thought this was a pretty classic IPA. hopscotch (5525), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Hazy, golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is fruity and malty with notes of butterscotch, toffee, apricot and grapefruit. The flavor is of pine, pineapple and apricot with a hint of toffee. Full-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. Fresh hop pellet aroma. Lingering sharp hop bitterness in the flavor. Little malt backbone. BierBauch (650), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2003 Nothing outstanding about this IPA but at least there are quality ingredients used. This a pretty much a basic California IPA, with the noticable and perhaps over-used Cascade hops. Nice overall beer none the less and nothing bad to say about it. I think I;ll try the bluebeery next. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2004 On tap at Brewtopia. Good nose, pine with a n onion or garlic thing, maybe the "Everything". Brownish orange color. Sweet and little plasticy. Finish is little sweet. Not bad, though some might be turned off by the everything part IMHO BeaverBrown (245), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2003 I was pretty disappointed in this beer. It is different. I was hopping for more of a garlic and onion flavor. Light clear browncolor with a decent sized white head. smells fruity. Strong taste at first, but no aftertaste. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2003 Thick lacing pour with a bubby, creamy white head. Orangeish to light copper color. Bit of a musty/malty aroma to it - not grapefruity like some hoppy IPAs - but not unpleasant. Flavor - good hoppiness to it - not so much to make you grit your teeth - but the Cascades definitely are pumping through. Overall, not bad for a beer I picked up in a health food store (really the only reason I was in there).
