Draught@EBF 2008. Black body with a ruby shade. No head. Aroma is dry cocoa/chocolate, plums and ashy dark malts. Much of the same flavorwise, a little sweetness added, with notes of smoke and some roastiness. Powdery mouthfeel. Medium body. Light bitter, light fruity finish.

On tap at EBF 08. Black, ruby with thin beige head. Some dark fruits on aroma, blackberry. Yes, very tasty, good body, some liquorice. Quite soft, not too overly roasted. It’s maybe served a little cold, but, it’s quite god. Bit of powder. Blackcurrant and blackberry come through. Competent stout.

Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a very dark beer with a small head. The aroma is roasted malts, coffee and slight notes of smoke. The flavor is licorice and sweetness. The aftertaste is good and bold. Good balanced stout.

Not sure why this got such bad ratings... was a pretty good porter in my opinion.. lots of roasted flavors, big body and full aroma. Pretty good, though not the best porter in the world.

From Chas. E., Aarhus, DK. Bottled. Infected and together with the dryness of far too much roasted barley this is horrible
