Ole_R (1351), Oslo, Norway Oct 17, 2008 Draught@EBF 2008. Black body with a ruby shade. No head. Aroma is dry cocoa/chocolate, plums and ashy dark malts. Much of the same flavorwise, a little sweetness added, with notes of smoke and some roastiness. Powdery mouthfeel. Medium body. Light bitter, light fruity finish. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 6, 2008 On tap at EBF 08. Black, ruby with thin beige head. Some dark fruits on aroma, blackberry. Yes, very tasty, good body, some liquorice. Quite soft, not too overly roasted. It’s maybe served a little cold, but, it’s quite god. Bit of powder. Blackcurrant and blackberry come through. Competent stout. stobbe74 (254), Denmark Sep 15, 2008 Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a very dark beer with a small head. The aroma is roasted malts, coffee and slight notes of smoke. The flavor is licorice and sweetness. The aftertaste is good and bold. Good balanced stout. xibalba89 (115), New York, New York, USA Sep 6, 2008 Not sure why this got such bad ratings... was a pretty good porter in my opinion.. lots of roasted flavors, big body and full aroma. Pretty good, though not the best porter in the world. Bragesnak (1400), Aarhus, Denmark May 3, 2008 From Chas. E., Aarhus, DK.
Bottled.
Infected and together with the dryness of far too much roasted barley this is horrible
