Commercial Description:
Zesty golden ale single hopped with German Hallertau Tradition hops)The brewers of Baird Beer love hops! Whenever we add a new variety to our growing inventory, we love to make a simple ale singularly (bittering, flavor, aroma) hopped with that variety. This allows us to begin to understand the unique character of that hop variety in the broadest sense possible. Tradition is a hop variety from the Hallertau region of Germany and it is a renowned dual-purpose hop (moderate bittering properties with an alpha acid at 7.8% and delicately floral aromatic characteristics). A simple malt profile and moderate gravity enable the hops to reign flavor supreme.

Draught at Harajuku Taproom, Tokyo. Clear amber/golden - white head. Resin, bitterness, amber malts, nice hoppy, light sweetness, toasted, grassy, light wooden notes. Nice.

Gold with a large white head. Creamy body to this one. Orange flavor with some light herbal notes. A little bit more citrus extends past the orange with some light spices as well. A nice creamy, malty backbone. No complexity here, but I slay a number of these in a sitting.
