Dark copper brown ... light lager nose with some roast ... sweet toffeee malty lager ... still quite nice. Quack-Duck (1905), Bodensee, Germany Nov 1, 2007 bottle. Dark, nearly black, medium-size and quikcly disappearing head. Intensive aroma of malt, roasted malt and dried fruit. Full-bodied, malty with hints of roasted malt, caramel, cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Slightly hoppy, especially in the finish.
