May 27, 2009 Deep golden coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma is quite malty. There is a touch of skunk, but it’s not all that objectionable. Softly sweet with a light biscuity pale malt base. There is a little bit of light herbal hop flavour. Good balance in a reasonably tasty pils.

Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Malty sweet, some alcohol scent. Malty sweet, some hops taste. A bit of warming alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Dry aftertaste.

May 12, 2009 Bottle, as Bakalar Lager. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Resiny hops, some citrus and pale malt in the aroma. The flavor has a nice bitterness, but is a bit too citrusy and fruity for my likings. Pale malts too. A bit sweet on the palate, medium bodied. Fruity, bitter finish. A boring one, but also quite good. Can’t really decide on this one, but at least I don’t crave another one. (090430)

Apr 14, 2009 It is warm golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of fruit, straw, flower, spice (coriander?) and the finish is dry. It is a quite nice lager.
