although predictably cereally and a bit on the watery side. the flavour is quite sharp and hoppy and sort of refreshing. Not unpleasent

Initial horrible smell of catswee/skunk, but this settles into a sweet hoppy smell which is much more pleasant. Light amber colour large white head with lacing on the glass. Tastes of hops and is quite bitter.

Bottle. Clear golden organe in colour with a medium white head. Very grainy aroma. The taste is very dry with a slight citric taste, with a dry hoppy finish.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Soapy and salty hops. Metallic malt. A fairly typical Czech lager in terms of hop and malt profile, though perhaps not one of great quality. The hops are not crisp and fresh, and the malt is not doing much good either. A poor show. Cheap and nasty, but not too offensive.

Bottle of Bakalar sat on durka durka street. Mid to dark golden colour with small white head. Malty flavour and not massively offensive.

Bottle, 50cl. Good wholesome yellow colour. Great hoppy taste. An enjoyable, refreshing pilsener, brilliant for the thirsty.
