Hints of cherries, nuts and prunes. Quite complex. Taste is really syrupy and nutty. It has a faint alcohol feeling at first but it grew stronger at the end. Carbonation was really faint. This is one very special beer. It really felt like a port wine. Really rich and complex. Diogène (556), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Raisins, sweet, brandy, sultana’s, smoked malt in the finish. Syrupy, oily MF, alcoholwarming; A bit too sticky. That was to say something negative. OTOH, it is a rich, powerful brew. And it costs the earth, but I still recommend it.
