Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of R. Pours a hazy, bubbly golden-yellow with a large lasting foamy white head. Aroma is dry, yeasty and fruity with some sweet malt, sourness and spices. Flavour is slightly sour with fruit, sugar and yeast -- a little mild. Decent average body. A nice surprise, though there’s nothing awesome about this it’s still a good, pleasant beer.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, GregClow, and Blankboy. Cloudy yellow, big foamy white head - looks neat. Nice aroma of apple, yeast, very dry. Good taste: grapefruit, yeast, very fruity and dry. An excellent refreshing beer and a nice surprise.

Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry and tupalev - provided by our mysterious benefactor. Pours a slightly hazy golden-yellow with a large creamy white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy, with a bit of fruit (apple, apricot), and a slightly medicinal tinge. Mouthfeel is nice, lively but not overly carbonated. Flavour holds a refreshing tartness, with some citric tanginess, and a quick, dry finish. A nice surprise.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - courtesy of most-generous you-know-who-you-are ;=]. Poured cloudy yellow, very lively-looking, wish a huge lasting tightly foamy white head, leaving thick sheets of lace one the inside of my glass (4+). Incredibly dry and yeasty aroma, pungently spicy, with lemon zest, herbal notes and sweet malt as it warmed. Taste is also very dry - the dry, sharp spice dominated my palate, but some appleseed and tart tropical fruit came into the finish, as did an increasing alcohol presence. Mouthfeel was quite impressive, lively carbonation, light acidity (felt a bit like an unsweetened grapefruit spritzer), held up well through the finish - one person at-table thought it reminded them of a bitter champagne with citrus overtones - well done - and thank you, kind benefactor!

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - cloudy orange colour, firm and persistent foam, nice lace; aroma of orange and cream, a touch of yeast and almonds; soft and creamy mouthfeel; a bit sweet with some sourness; short aftertaste of tangerines with warming alcohol notes - unexciting
