| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. A gorgeous clean amber colour with an impressive thick and stable white head. Massive pineapple in the aroma (and I love pineapple) along with some almond like alcohol and some lovely tropical fruit hops that could almost be Sauvin. The flavour is along the same lines but it held back by some all too apparent burnt malt. Biiiiiig fruity finish with lots of sugar brings it back on track. Aroma of oranges, lemon and plums. Flavor as indicated by the aroma with the addition of mild hops and a hint of alcohol. Low carbonation, long aftertaste. maeib (4725), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Bottled - GBBF 2008. A very murky light brown coloured beer. The aroma has spritzy yeastiness and some light fruits and decent Belgian styled hoppiness. The taste is yeasty with peppery hops. Highly carbonated and very obviously Belgian in influence. Some toffee and banana on the nose not unlike banoffee pie along with some yeast also slight tinge of sourness. Flavour is much the same as the aroma but with a smattering of fruitiness thrown into the equation, nice beer. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland
