750, capped and foiled. Thanks, Preston! Pours deeply murky caramel dark amber with a towering platinum blonde head of suds and swiss-cheese-sized holes. Takes forever to top up the beer, you’re continuously tipping in a bit more and a bit more. Every time, there’s a storm surge in the beer and inches more spider egg-sized bubbles pile up in the head. Decent strings and webs of lace, but nothing too outlandish--still, a nice-looking beer. Nice must, bubble gum, and candi sugar nose--very faithful interpretation of a Belgian. Medium body with ultra-tight fizzy carb. Tart caramel, wood, mineral, and grass on the mid-palate. Pretty much all over the place. Minerally finish. Nice enough but hardly a world-beater.

Bottled. Thx rickgordon. Hazy golden with a small, white head. Yeasty and a bit metallic aroma. Warm alco-feel and a champagne-ish mouthfeel. Yeasty and metallic flavour.

Bottle (75 cl), thanks rickgordon. Hazy orange amber with a medium off-white head. Fruity and spicy aroma with plums and yeast . Medium bodied with good mouthfeel. Initially sweet followed by a moderate bitterness.

my preferred le baladin beer. Its particular very sparkling feature make it really singular. fruity taste, not too much sweet. you can’t feel the alchol when you drink it

Medium beige lasting head. Hazy amber body with carbonation. Acidic mild wooden malty aroma with cheesy notes. Dry sweetish spicy peppery fruity taste with malty resiny notes. Acidic and lightly soapy. Dry soft metallic spicy fruity aftertaste. Nice, but not too exciting. (0.75l bottle at Isola della Birra.)

Bottled: Aroma is sweet, notes of alcohol and citrus peel. Sweet notes of raisins. Creamy off-white head. Very hazy, dark orange color. Flavor is sweet, notes of candy, raisins and grapes. Very fruity beer with well hidden alcohol content. Sweet-sour end, notes of sherry and some hop bitterness. Tasty, fruity beer.

Liely carbonation, a long lasting rocky head over a cloudy golden beer. Smells of Belgian style yeast and a whiff of barnyard. A rich, spicy, malty brew. Ginger, cinnamon, a peppery/ruccola aroma. Some burned sugar bitterness, port-like voertoens. Warming alcohol. A truly splendid beer.
