63.5/5.03.34/5.05.4%0English pint, Trappist glass

Commercial Description:
Smell initially dominated by a delicious vanilla with soft but precise hints of toffee, ginger and an hardly noticeable "cooked cream", then, the forest fruits aroma gain the ascendant with the gooseberry standing out sharply and pleasantly, while the vanilla appears now and then. Very interesting "Ale" having a very good aspect both in the soft orange color and in the creamy, solid, persistent and perfectly coating the glass froth. Its not a classic "bitter ale" but more similar to a "Yorkshire strong ale", to me, with a full and round body that can boasts a complex and articulated smell and a warm and varied fruity aroma.

Amber colour with a light creamy head. Nice hoppiness, cara notes, inviting, little spicy. Flavoury, well-bodied, fruity toward a nice bitter and dry end.

From tap at Bir and Fud. Pours hazy deep orange. Light fruity hops aroma. Flavour is light fruity with a mild peach note and a sweer malt base. Goes into a decent bitterness.

Alla spina al Baladin; colore rosso chiaro/arancione con schiuma densa compatta e cremosa. Aroma evanescente e carezzevole di luppolo fresco, sapore delicato e complesso che si concentra in una nota di amaro spettacolare nel finale.

On tap, served by handpump, at Artebirra 2003, Italian Craft Beer festival in Milan. Garnet-red colour, creamy white head. Weak intensity perfumed, nice (english) hop aroma (herbal), caramel, fruity (red fruits). Very easy to drink, watery texture, light to medium body, finish dry.

Dark amber, thick and generous head, yoghurt-like. Light hop aroma. Smooth, some sweetness, balanced soon by a correct bitterness, raising in a stronger palate.</br> Actually the one that I liked most visiting this brewery.
