| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Brown to violet in color, small head but important carbonation. Nose of blue grapes, berries and yeast (belgian?). Starts too sweet, but a refreshing acidity takes over and ends on a metallic note. Expected it would be quite round, but is actually thin. I preferred the beer served cool, would not recommend to serve tempered as cooler, it enhances its refreshing side. OK, but not that exciting. rickgordon (3313), Göteborg, Sweden

Cloudy brown colour with firm head. Vague aroma, it’s bit acidic with almonds and dark berries. Yeasty, bit nutty flavour with almonds and slight toasty. Acids are present here as well. Pretty one-dimensional maltiness. larsniclas (3389), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Shared a bottle at the Hop Devil. Pours dark brown with a nice brown head. Aroma isn’t particularly strong... has some dark fruit, though without a commanding presence. The first few sips were surprisingly bitter, but it mellowed out after that. Very unique beer, but not really my style. Had the texture of a really dry wine, like a Bourdeux, but for some reason I wasn’t really impressed. Maybe it was the presence of alcohol in the flavor, which didn’t really match the abv. I have to give them credit for making a good, solid and original beer, but it’s just not my thing. I’d recommend that everyone give it a chance. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden
