Brown with a lasting off white head. Malt, brown sugar and licorice in the aroma. Rather sweet, roasty malt flavour.

Bottle @ You Never Walk Alone, Kolding. Pours a brown colour. Aroma is sweet with roasted malt, some spices and dark fruits. Good flavour of softly roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and bit of chocolate. Good roasty sweet bit spiced finish.

Bottle. on ØJ-dag. @ YNWA, Kolding
Pours a deep red with lots of bubbles in the liquid. Head is creamy, off white and stays for quite some time. Sweet aroma, light strawberries and a roasted spicyness. Full, lively and still a bit oily mouthfeel. Flavour is dominated by slightly burned caramel, apples, chocolate, strawberries, toffee, cinnamon, coriander and cardemum. The spices never ’take over’, lying perfactly balanced in the back. Lightly dry and spicy sweet aftertaste.

750 ml bottle. Pours brown with some sediment and a durable, tan head. Aroma is crayon-ish and grape with some burnt caramel. Flavor is some chocolate with dried fruits and even more fresh vinous grape. This is as close to a wine as any beer I’ve tasted. I’m sure this beer would be fantastic in 10 years and after just one, although not boozy tasting, I’m getting a buzz from just a few sips.

The beer poured a clear dark chestnut color with a small off-white head. The aroma was fruity and yeasty with a mlaty sweetness. The aroma was full. The flavor was malty and estery with a dry finish. Lightly spiced. Medium bodied. There was a hint of tartness in the flavor.

The aroma is sweet and yeasty with some chocolate. The appearance is brown with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma with plenty of alcohol for a 9%. The palate is thin. Overall it’s pretty good but not that impressive.

Gives a real spicy punch. A true peppery overtones that makes this a great winter warmer. Toffee and caramel like. Enjoy
