2005 Bottle shared by frylock at BCTC. Thanks Jacob! Nose is of granny smith apples, grapes, vinegar, sweet malt. Flavor is similar and nicely sour and acidic. Enjoyable. Will have to try the regular Nora soon.

750 ml bottle from Green’s in Atlanta. Like the regular edition I found in Chicago, I had to grab this in honour of my daughter Norah. And I’m rating this on the occasion of her 2nd birthday. Hazy golden yellow colour with a fully lasting creamy, fizzy, and rocky off-white head. Tart lemon, grainy, citrus, and lightly metallic yeasty aroma with intriguing spicy notes - myrrh, I assume. Tart lemon and grapefruit, orange, yeasty, lightly spicy, lightly grainy and biscuity malt flavours with a lemon and grapefruit pithy bitter finish. Light bodied, juicy, thirst quenching mouthfeel. Refreshing feel and tartness of a gueuze but not quite as dry, which leaves some maltiness that adds an extra dimension in the flavour. Very different from my experience with the regular version, but this one is even better.

Bottle received via trade with jayg. Pours sparkling orange with a huge, frothy, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, hay, meal), average hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (earth, dough) with notes of green apple and green grapes. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

pours an offwhite ring-cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is vinuous, medium malt. Taste is sour/vinuous, medium fruit, medium fruit, some spices/herbal. OK effervescence. Smooth.
