Wolfbass (22), Firenze, Italy Nov 5, 2009 Gilded color and head with little persistence, the aroma I must admit and notably speziato and original, exotic and elegant, in mouth it likes for the perfect balance, but for me it slips away without too consistence. In every case to be praised for complexity and originality of the product. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Oct 15, 2009 It’s hazy, warm golden with sediment and a white head. The aroma is very floral with notes of elderflower, malt spice and something, that must be myrrh. The slightly sweet flavor has notes of flower, elderflower, malt, ginger and again what I believe is myrrh, and the finish is slightly dry. A very exciting and tasty brew. ChristianScheffel (4402), Odense, Denmark Oct 3, 2009 Cloudy golden with a tiny white head. Exciting and complex aroma, of tropical flowers, daffodils, spices and a little fruit. Sweet and fruity flavour with complex spices. Could get cloying, but a really exciting beer michael-pollack (2598), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 8, 2009 750ml Bottle: Aroma of grains, fruit, light ginger, slight coriander, slight pepper, and slight yeast. Poured amber/gold/orange in color with a small, loose, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of tiny and medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of slight fruit, pepper, grains, spices, slight honey, myrrh, and a hint of ginger. Lightly medium body. Slick, slightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Slightly sweet, pepper, light grain, light fruit, and hint of ginger finish is slightly dry. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Aug 5, 2009 Pours a creamy orange colour with a small gray head. The nose is musty, spicy, and has some odd notes. The taste is very weird. Musty citrus, spice. Weird... Decent, but probably wouldn’t drink again. vtafro (452), , New Jersey, USA Jul 15, 2009 Bottle. Golden yellow pour with lasting head, beer is also not very clear. Aroma is spicy and not familiar as a beer smell. Tropical fruit flavor with pepper and spice overtones. Definitely not your typical beer. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2009 Bottle shared by Vtafro thanks dude. Pours a hazy copper amber body with an off white head. Aroma is sharp like pepper ginger and pencil shavings. Dusty and acrid. A light melon overtaken by spices, pepper and anise like spice. Very strange beer i can’t say i’d have it again but decent for an odd ball. Dedollewaitor (3622), Odense, Denmark Jul 14, 2009 75cl bottle @ Ca De Vin, Millesimo. Pours unclear orange with a lovely creamy head and lacings. Nose and taste is complex. So much of everything - and it really works. Fine balance. Very malty and spicy. Caramel, yeast, baking powder, sweetness, exotic fruits, pepper, ginger and hops. Smooth and full palate. Very tasty.
