Apple nose, also peach, cloudy apricot colour, tiny custard head. Flavour is mixed fruit, tart, mildly sweet, nicely done. Quite a refreshing treat! Kamut grain?

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev, jerc, DougShoemaker & mds -- courtesy of R. Pours a murky dark yellow-orange with sediment and a spare white head. Mild aroma of sour fruit. Flavour of fruit, sweet malt, some mild sourness and spices. Nothing special but it’s decent enough.

Dark yellow, small white head. Some pepper, barnyard like yeast, and slightly acidic and sour aroma. Light mouthfeel. A nice lemon citrus taste, just slightly sour; well balanced with enough malt. Quite refreshing. A very fruity finish with no sign of the slightly increased alcohol. This is a well made interesting brew, thanks R!

bottle. pours a pulpy brown-orange with a small white head. aroma is very fruity - oranges, apricot, some bread, and an underlying tartness. the flavours consist of tropical fruits and includes a fair amount of acidity. moderate lively carbonation. a decent, interesting beer.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, tupalev, jerc, DougShoemaker and mds - thanks, R!. Poured cloudy orange with a small white head, plenty of sludge at the bottom of the glass. Aroma is quite peppery and sour, orange-lemon-pineapple juice, tart cider - gets even more sour on warming. Taste follows nose, juicier, quite tart and peppery. Mouthfeel acidic and lively - very interesting, very drinkable sharp lightly sour ale. Thanks "R!

This was a real nice beer, fully drinkable at 6.8 and refreshing. Had it on tap in a nice 2 liter "tube" with another. I’ll take any trad ale I can drink by the liter.

Interesting aroma, a light, sweet malt, yeasty, with a gingery, chamomile laden aroma having a slight citric tartness. An okay pour, hazy pale orange with plenty of suspended particles and a fizzy, cream colored head. The flavor is simpler than the smell, malt heavy with oranges and a swelling of the spices near the end. It’s got an abrupt finish, leaving only a bit of orange zest tartness in the mouth. I’d do it again.

Pours an amber/orange color with a medium sized tan cap that leaves minimal lacing. Nose of medium sweet malts, banannas and dark fruits. Body is medium, palate is lightly oily. Mildly sweet malt flavors, dark fruits, fig, a hint of raisin and bananna plus a nice underlying spiceyness. Finish is almost dry, fruity. Nice. A tad pricey though.
