Apr 11, 2009 750ml bottle with dinner at an Italian restaurant. Hazy golden color with a medium white head and pretty good lacing. Aroma is spicy and fruity with some malt and grain. Flavor starts as pale malt, then honey, with a spicy finish that I would guess comes from the myrrh and ginger. Average carbonation and fairly dry palate, seems to have been bottle conditioned. Some fine sediment remains at the end. Not bad stuff. Forza Italia!

The aroma is spicy and fruity citrus it is weird smells like a lager somewhat
Pours a hazey orange with a big frothy white head
The taste is herbal medicinal and apple even though it is only 6.8abv there is a mild alcohol finish

Feb 23, 2009 Bottle 75 cl. Large fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of spice, grass, citrus, floral, mild perfume and good counter toasted malt and caramel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Lingering mild bitter citrus like fresh finish.

Feb 21, 2009 Golden with haze. Totally unique herbal aroma is like an herb garden. Fruitiness from esters with pear, bitter orange. Very nice aroma. Spritzy body is refreshing with lots of apples. Strongly herbal but is not medicinal. Dry leafy herb finish. Prominent orange and a bit resinous.

Feb 8, 2009 Bottle at Funky Buddha/Case and Keg tasting. I really enjoyed this. Cloudy golden yellow pour with a nice rich head. Aroma is fruity, malty, sweet and spicy. Flavor is sweet and very thick on the tongue. I get some really good candy sugar, caramel and fruit. Pretty damn good.

Jan 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a cloudy straw gold with a large off white head. Aroma is tart apples and pineapple. Flavor is quite tart, very light, and lemony with a bit of oak.

Jan 2, 2009 flowery aroma, not hoppy but more like lavender. cloudy yellowish/orange with a thick one-fingered size head. The taste is similar to the aroma with a little copper metallic twinge. Earthy yeast and flowers are still dominating. Slight bitterness and maybe a little honey.

Dec 31, 2008 Tap at Ginger Man. Hazy orange-amber beer. Aroma is lightly fruity and sweet. A bit of honeyed sweetness. Light orange and cherry and a bit of ginger. It’s got a few good things going on, but it’s generally poor. A little bit watery and muddled.
