2005 edition bottle via trade with hopscotch, thanks Eric. Shared with bikesandbeer and my girlfriend Cyn. Pours rich orangey with a tan archipelago of head. Nose is sweet and slightly sour. Taste is soured, tart and all in all pretty damn good.

750 ml bottle 2005 vintage poured a hazy orange with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of sour apple, carmel, earthiness, leather, light peach and light horseblanket. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a lightly tart finish. Flavors of carmel, sour apple, horseblanket and light leather with a crisp lightly tart fruity finish.

2005 bottle, Light copper red-orange with a thin off white head. Aroma much the same as regular baladin, sweet, fruity, apricots, alcohol, and light peppery spices. Taste is not sour and basically like the regular version. Apricots, syrupy, very sweet with a drying alcohol finish. Disappointing.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a red amber color with no head. Notes of dull and musty cellar, some fruit tree? I dunno this one confused me. Medium mouthfeel, but I am left just thinking this one is weird.

2005 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small white head that fades over an orange body with particles. Aroma of apple sauce, plastic, cinnamon, mashed pear and smoke. Taste is a bit of sour apple sauce with cinnamon, wood, vinegar and red sour cherries. Sparse, but lively bubbles and a water like mouthfeel.
