2005 bottle from Sammy, thanks! Amber color, cloudy. Vinous oaky aroma with raspberry and red berry notes. Moderately sour flavor with oaky and cherry notes, marzipan, chocolate, red beriies and apple. Probably has mellowed down a bit over the years, but still a lovely and likeable matured sour.

(750ml bottle, 2005 vintage) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma of apple cider, vinegar, cinnamon, brown sugar, mustiness, barnyard, and metal. Flavor of yeast, apple, some dried strawberries, light herbal funkiness, and cereal.

1pt 9.4oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, fruity, yeast, musty cellar, and a subtle leathery/barnyard. Tastes of citrus, lots of apples, and yeast. Started out red delicious apple sweet and ended in a tart green apple finish. Alcohol content well hidden.

Huge ochre-amber beer with a white rim. Peanuts, cookies, bakery aroma’s... Not really sour, rather lactic with faint fruity nostes - strawberries, maybe. Very light body, but fiery end in mouthfeel, acidburn. A bit unbalanced, not clear what was intended with this beer. Nose is really strange.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of hay, some grass, bananas, some brett. Tastes funky but not overly sour. HInts of tarte compliment the sweet malt pretty well.

Bottle shared by EDA at Spuyten Duyvil. Deep amber beer with a very unusual aroma. Cognac and a herbal jagermeister-like liqueur aroma. Flavour is quite herbal and toffeeish with a light licorice character throughout. A bit of oakiness and a weird astringency as well. Neither super nor sour. Buh.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, cookie), lightly to moderately yeasty (barnyard), with notes of sour apple, cask wood, cherry, pear. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lighlty to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not bad, but honestly was hoping for something more exciting.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Hazy orange amber color with an ephemeral white head. Aromas of orange citrus and light hop. Just a hint of citrus sour. Medium body with light carbonaton. Flavor is a mild orange sour. Goes on to mildly woody. Yet orange prevails. Very slightly astringent. Extremely pleasant.
