Baladin Super Cheese

Poured from 75cl bottle from A Tutta Birra into pint glass, didn’t have a snifter. Cloudy orange pour with very little head. Some carbonation that complimented the fruity and orange aroma. Oddly flat and thin on the palate with an orange lemonade flavor, not one of the best barley wines out there but not bad for Italy.

Heavy malty aroma. Huge, frothy, white head. Cloudy orange body. Heavy sweet and light tast of cheese. Light bitter finish duration. Medium palate.

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Orange colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Creasy and honey-notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Strange moldy. MOderate bitter average finish. Very creamy palate. Boring one-dimensional barley wine.

Bottle. Muddy amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma and taste of sweet malts, orange, yeast and coriander. Fruity sour finish.

Bottle. Torben Matthews tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are lactose sour, sweet bread and malt.

Pours lightly muddy orange-amber with a nice, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is lightly tart, some brett-character, oranges, light coriander and yeast. Great, creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Flavour is wonderfully malty, rye, some oranges with light tartness. Some sharpish pine hops finish it off nicely.

Italian Tasting at FOF, Gyngen, Aarhus, DK Bottled, 291008. Amber with off-white head. Aroma of orange, fruit and allcohol. Flavor balanced of malt with fruit notes and a nice tone of sourness.
