Commercial Description:

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and lots of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, berries, and malt, leading to a dry citrusy and woody finish. Slightly acidic.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy pale amber with an off-white head. Sweet’n’tart aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body, fruit - some overripe - caramel and some light oxidization. Tartish, fruity finish while the alcohol is pretty well hidden. 301109

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours lightly muddy orange-amber with a nice, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is lightly tart, some brett-character, oranges, light coriander and yeast. Great, creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Flavour is wonderfully malty, rye, some oranges with light tartness. Some sharpish pine hops finish it off nicely.

Cloudy deep golden pour. Rather lacy, lasting off-white head. Surpringly subtle nose, strongly yeasty, bready and tart, hinting at a Sangiovese barrel. Tea-like, citrusy, lemony palate with a certain chalkiness in the finish. Light-medium bodied whereas I expected beefier malts. Active carbonation. Really unique beer, certainly unclean. Listed here as a barley wine, but the yeastiness feels Belgian with its inherent mushroomy uncleanliness. A weird concept and an appealing name. I was thrilled to find this bottle in Italy when there were absolutely no ratings for it, but the experience did not quite live up to the hype I had created by myself, for myself – don’t try that at home.

Yellowish head, medium, over pale-amber beer. Alcohol, fusels, old brandy, and cheesy hops (with the accent on hops, not cheese). Bit of syrup (maple?). Toasted alcoholic grain cookies (indeed perfect for drinking with cheese). Alcohol push in terribly, fusels à gogo. Rich liqueur. Fiery alcoholic MF, warming. A very impressive brew. Had I to rate it for cheese-side drink, it would probably head for 5/5.
