Jun 26, 2009 Bottle from jessup plaza. earthy brown color with a small off white head. aroma is clove, banana, other fruit, yeast. Taste is very strong and fruity. Smooth and drinkable. The alcohol is covered well but shows up right at the end. Finish is very dry. I liked this one.

Jun 19, 2009 750ml Bottle: Aroma of biscuit, bread, malts, light yeast, and a hint of fruit. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, off-white/oatmeal head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of a zillion small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, toasting, dough, yeast, slight hops and a hint of caramel. Very raw-dough like. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, yeast, and dough finish. 8%ABV is totally hidden.

Jun 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly yeasty aroma with some nutty hints. Fruity malty spicy yeasty nutty flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty yeasty finish with hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

May 29, 2009 750mL bottle, don’t see a date on it. Poured bright, fiery orange with a rather short cap of white head.. didn’t look great overall, but the color and clarity were there. The aroma opened with a huge dose of maple syrup that threw me off.. aged caramel rolled in and supported apricot, banana, and peppery yeast character.. smelled thick and syrupy (if smells can carry those textures). The flavor had caramel, toffee, and brown sugar at the core with a blend of light and darker fruits surrounding.. yeast gave a white peppery kick, but the sweetness kept it at bay.. fruit skin sourness with a resiny texture was laced throughout.. the sourness was refreshing on the otherwise sweet finish. Medium-plus bodied with a thick texture on the palate.. balance was quite good, and this brew grew on me as it progressed. Very good stuff.

May 9, 2009 0.75 l bottle, thanks jukkabro! Hazy amber color with small beige head. Sweet, almondy and nutty aroma with hints of tropical fruits. Sweet, nutty, caramelly and fruity flavor with ripe tropical fruits, especially apricot. Nice almond liquer like aroma and flavor. A bit too sweet.
