Oct 8, 2007 A really interesting beer, worth trying. Had the special opportunity to try this in Venice, as I stumbled upon a little cheese/meat shop that happened to have a few bottles on hand. Expensive but so is everything in Venice. Found the "Super" to be special indeed. Quite mild, as if the alcohol content was several percentage points below what it was. Farmhouse taste that imparts an artisan character: not an imitation of any Belgian brew I know. In a country ruled by wine, this is a fine addition to the Italian array of beverages.

Oct 6, 2007 Updated: Apr 28, 2008[Bottle, thanks BDR] Pours hazy orange with floating particles and an off-white head. Aroma is sweet with apricot and yeast. The taste is light alcohol, yeast and more apricot. Medium mouthfeel with an average finish. Not bad but nothing too impressive.

Sep 11, 2007 Poured a hazy amber color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was dusty and yeasty with some lightly tart notes to the malt. The tartness was not so much sour but more citrusy. The flavor was lightly citrus and tart over a fruity malt. The finish was clean but tart. It seemed to be both wet and dry at the same time.

Sep 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours orange caramel, fizzy off white head. Aroma is dried fruit, malt, grass, alcohol. Flavor is funky, musty, meaty, wheaty, spicy, slightly fruity. I’m not a big fan. It lacks character, in my humble opinion.

Aug 28, 2007 Mild fruity nose, some malt, apricot colour, small off-white head. Taste of pitfruit and malt. Well balanced, tart, bitter, great tongue tingle. Finally, well worth the wait.

Jul 31, 2007 Its hard for me to really recommend this one strongly because the initial start of the best taste like industrial plastic. However this flavor dissipates and gives a sweet, malty taste with toffee like flavors.

Jul 31, 2007 The aroma has lots of yeast with caramel malt and fruit. The appearance is hazy amber with a large head. The flavor has all the elements from the aroma plus toffee and bitterness. The palate is thin. This is a mixed bag but I like it pretty good.
