Huge foamy head. Hazy orange color with yeast remains. Flavor is fresh, sour/sweet with notes of citrus and oranges. Spicy, remarkable hopped and light herbal. Dry finish. Light, fruity and a not remarkable alcohol content. jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA Jul 21, 2007 Tremendous bottle. Dark caramel in color with a cloud of head. Grapy, vinuous aroma, with rustic bread, apricot or peach notes. Seet and sour, sweet dried pit fruit, cherries, then a tart finish. Full-flavored, with a light caramel malt backing. Somewhat undefinable, becuase it has so much fruit. Not astringent or overly alcoholic at all. A nice beer to sip on a hot afternoon. doublebock (196), USA Jul 13, 2007 Orange hazy color, head explodes out of the bottle. citrusy, yeasty bready aroma. Carbonated palate. Malty taste with some spiciness and banana. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA Jul 8, 2007 Bottle. Poured a dark amber brown with a 1/4" head. Aromas of rubbing alcohol, sweet malt, and a little banana. Taste is fairly mundane, with mostly sweet, dark malt coming out on top, with some light prune notes. I agree, it’s pretty thin on taste, not terrible, but not great. ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 18, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, medium amber body with a white head.
Smell: Sweet pale malt aroma with a vague fruitiness (figs, maybe) to it and light yeasty notes.
Taste: A light malt sweetness is instantly stolen away by a dry, funky sourness and the flavor of musty apple juice. Hints of a light spiced red wine. Quick, thin finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Moderately carbonated. Slightly watery.
Drinkability: The flavors run a bit too thin for me. I preferred the Wayan to this one. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 1, 2007 Clowdy orange, sharp sour winey nose, woth a sour fruit banana and citric tones
