Slightly yeasty, and quite smooth, quite well balanced in the end. I am getting touches of apricot as the description above says. I think this is pretty good, but probably not as good as i was hoping. Cornfield (4928), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

It pours a hazy yellowed orange with a creamy off-white head that dissipates rather quickly. The nose is pleasant, a slightly pungent sour fruit smell with a bouquet of summer flowers. Lively in the mouth, it has a simple citric fruit flavor, tart oranges mostly, with a bit of floral hop bitterness. Certainly one of the best Italian beers that I’ve had to date.

Pours a murky, medium orange with a thin, but sticky white head - good lacing. Aroma is slightly funky, some overripe fruit notes, model glue and dried apricots. Flavor shows a little promise, starts off with a bit of green tea, finishes with some dried fruit notes - apricots again - like in the aroma, but nothing really jumps out. Finishes slighlty metallic. Mouthfeel is slighlty thick and sticky. Expected more. bu11zeye (5442), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 11, 2005 Poured mid brown with a tight off white head. Nose sour.. citrus and wood and earth. Tasted rubbery and had a bit of lawn mixed with malts. A bit watered down tasting and not all that great to drink. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia
