Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Bottle. Hazy brown beer, lots of flavour. Sweet fruit, marzipan, nuts and spices. Not too exiting, really.

Bottle. Pours light orange, fizzy white head fades quickly. Aroma of caramel and nuts, sour notes, spices and earthy notes, yeast. The same notes return in the flavour, along with a certain fruitiness. Not a lot of hops to be found. The carbonation is a bit too fizzy and sparkly for me.

750 shared with 520flavors. Super funky aroma whoa. Poured a cloudy orange and was sediment-filled. Unlike any belgian strong I’ve had before. Bright over the palate but not overly carbonated. Flavor was spicy and maintained a bit of the funk from the aroma.

750 shared. Hazy tangerine body with fast fading off-white head. Flavor - ripe sweet plums and other fruit, some alcohol, clove, and spice. Smells like aroma but much more muted. Medium light body with fine low carbonation - nice feel. Overall: good, but not worth the price.

The beer poured a bright orange color with a tight head, the beer was very hazy. The aroma was spicy and lightly floral, the aroma reminded me of a classic Belgian dubbel. The flavor is sweet, sweeter than I normally like, but somehow it works well here. Spicy flavors dominate with some fruitiness, some orange, and some alcohol. Pretty good.

Bottle pours a murky brown amber body with a small head. Aroma of unripe berries, vague spices, yeast, and vinous alcohol. Taste follows suit. Slight suggestion of tropical fruits, but mostly a sour, unripe berry tartness. vinous and dry. Interesting, but I’ll pass on another.

Bottle: Brown/red hazy colour, with a thin head. Aroma of citrus, belgian jästy nose. Flavor is big: lots of fruits, caramelly, sirup mouth feeling. An complex beer indeed. Long fruity finish, medium body.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Almost clear amber with lots of floating yeast particles and a small, firm head. Quite sweet aroma with caramely malt, sugar and strawberries. Flavor is sweet, grainy and yeasty with a hint of tartness, but overall more in common with barley wine, than a Belgian Strong. Some alcohol present in the finish. Medium body, slightly thin despite the sugar. Medium, slightly foamy carbonation. A substitute for sweet dessert wine (with a sweet strawberry cheesecake, maybe), but not that enjoyable or complex as such.
