Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

(Bottle 75 cl) Light amber, extremely hazy from the lack of filtration. Massive and quite stable head. High on carbonation. Has the typical Baladin-touch though I’m not able to describe exactly, what it is - perhaps it’s the house-yeast? Malty, sugary but not excessively sweet and then with some hoppiness in the finish. Quite well done. 231204

Aroma: malty and spiritous (a good start!) Appearance: poures clear amber/brown with the yeast becomes nicely hazy. Tiny head that quickly dissipates. Flavour: malty with a tiny bit of herbal and once again that plastic/bandaid strangeness. Palate: bubby with a medium mouthfeel.

Metallic notes and some belgian yeast funk in the aroma. Cloudy amber, low creamy head, champagne carbonation. Sweet fruit salad - Pineapple, oranges and peaches - much nicer after you let the carbonation go a bit. Sweet and sticky and hides its strength well. Candy peach aftertaste.

A cloudy orange beer with a foamy tan head. Peach, pear and citrus in the rather tart aroma, tones of infection?! Sharp flavor, fruit and orange and a foamy mouthfull. Doesn’t taste quite right.

Cloudy orang with a light head and spotty lace. Yeasty and fruity nose with bitter tones. Dusty cobwebs as well. Malty flavors with a pepper spice touch. Floral and bitter hops with some caramel malt backing. Light and airy with a tangy, bitter finish.

Orange color, light lacing & little head. Nose is yeasty with esters & failed hops. Decently performing malts but shut down but the tangy carbonation.

Hazy light amber colour with some fizzy foam. Nice complex aroma of flower, banana and some clove spice. Flavour was rich with some nut flavour, spice, citrus fruit and a little bitterness at the end.

From the bottle a hazy light orange body infused with floaty particles sits with a cap of fizzy white foam. Yeast give estery hints of banana and a touch of clove meshing with a crisp citrus orange peel and black pepper spicing. There was a bit of coriander in the finish working well with the dry crisp finish.
