Feb 5, 2005 This is an identify scroll. A: a hazy orange potion. A potion of fruit juice. Very nice perfume of coriander, yeast and plenty of fruit. The best analogy for the taste I could think of was coriander seed sprinkled on watermelon. I don’t know if it was specifically watermelony esters or just vague melon-ness combined with the watery texture that made me think that. Very light and sweet and fruity, finishing dry and watery with a slight note of possible infection - that garbage juice taste. Then again maybe it was some weird spice i can’t identify like asafoetida or something weird. A mixed bag overall but would be good to taste a fresher/better cellared bottle.

Jan 16, 2005 An unclear orange beer with a nice beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel while the flavor is sweet with notes of yeast and oranges.

Jan 14, 2005 Absolutely perfect appearance here: starts a clear vibrant amber/orange color that becomes increasingly cloudy the further through the massive bottle you get (litle yeasties everywhere), huge creamy head - one of the creamiest non nitro heads I’ve seen, leaves attractive lace all over the glass. Aroma is light and dry, the pervasive yeast profile yields lots of esters taking form as apple, grapes (green), and a nice spicy undertone. The flavor is more intensely grape with some currant and dry grassy character, the apple seems to have taken a back seat to the spicier aspects here but is still quite noticeable. The fruity sour characteristic kind of rolls around in contrast to the cutting aspect of the spicy yeast on the palate, keeping it interesting to the last yeasty drop.

Jan 12, 2005 Bottled: Orange coloured. Unclear. Beige medium sized head. Yeast, fruit and light sourness in the aroma. Flavour is spiced and light sweet. Has citrusy and sour notes. Is quite watery and not as complex and tasty as I expected. Disappointing beer.

Dec 5, 2004 Light lemony tea aroma w/ sweet undertones, this beer has a deep golden orange color w/ good head and lacing. Very citrusy and sweet, good effervesence.

Nov 29, 2004 an easy drink, feels like 5%. Pineapple, almond, apricot and pear on the tongue. Like a fresh draft. Sweet malts.
