Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

POurs a deep amber hue with a nice slight-off-white head. Aromas of spice and yeast. Flavor is yeasty and filled with honey and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is full but doesn’t linger long. A very beautiful brew.

pours a hazy, almost milky, caramel color. Aroma is fruity and somewhat spicy flowers. The flavor is much like the aroma and the palate s slightly dry. This is pretty good.

Slightly hazed amber body topped by a large rocky light manila head. Excellent glass lacing. The aroma is quite fruity apricot also some floral notes. The flavor is also fruity along with some yeastiness. Assertive medium bitter body. Dry finsih. The best belgain ale from Italy I have ever had. :)

This brew pours with an orange amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are sweet, malty and fruity with a slight vinious note, a little spice and a touch of sourness. Medium to full bodied and amazingly smooth with a touch of dryness.

Bottle at Belgian Beerfest. Bright orange color. Light malty aroma, slightly fruity. Soft wheaty body, fruit, cherry, grainy and candy sugar. Unique, well made, and overall very good.

Beautiful bottle, beautiful pour...gorgeous peachy hue, with some floatabilities, running ’round, under a shockingly pristine, lacily, bubbilly, off-whitish head. Aroma: airy, other-worldly, yeastily aberrant, if you know what I mean, citric and somewhat sweetish...wonderful fruit...time to drink, isn’t it? Yum, again, if I haven’t said so before, a fully yeasty, citric bent...deliciousness abounds here...odddly, I was more impressed with the flavor of Nora, but the Super appears to be a Belgian Tripel style that falls within guidelines, but doesn’t go too much further beyond...it’s delicious, though ...enjoy it!

Pours a hazy brown amber with a large yellow short lasting head. Well despite paying top $ for this this some 2 months ago and storing it in the fridge at all times I have to say I am very disappointed with this beer and I’m beginning to suspect the importer and/or bottle shop may not have treated it appropriately. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to try this in Europe next time I’m there. The brewery is not too far from my cousin’s place in Torino so there is every chance this will happen. Anyway I will rate it as I saw it and amend it next time I rate it. The aroma is a medium medicianal friars balsam? and bandaid with a touch of biscuity malt. Flavour wise it tastes like an old Chimay, stale watery yeasty caramel malty with the same medicinal touches as in the aroma. My colleage says he can get the apricot at the end but I’m nowhere on this. I don’t like rating off beers so I’m including this for compartive purposes only.

Amber color with a thick cream head and lots of things floating around busily in the body. Aroma is sweet and spicy at the same time. Smell of lemon, apricot and apples balanced with coriander and clove. Falvor has a ciderish hint of apples withing a stellar belgian strong. A very warming feel in this combined with an ending bitterness that is slightly grassy and makes this end with a lemony taste. Wonderful beer.
