Baladin Super du Baladin

Bottle aged approx 2 years. Pours a lightly hazy really nice robust orange with a large foamy/creamy off white head that left lots of nice lacing. Small floaties. Aroma was very floral at first, followed by a nice orangey touch, then some malty sweetness, Belgian fermentation esters are present, Lightly peppery and spicy, getting a bunch of various fruits including some mango and other tropical fruits and a bit earthy. Flavor of bready malt, yeast, Belgian yeast esters, light spicy notes, some citrus, a touch of some tartness, apricots and caramel.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy/hazy brown/orange with an off-white head. Aroma is mild orange fruity, yeasty and slight citric. Medium body, light oily yeast/hops mouthfeel. Holds a mild orange citric note to a mild phenolic yeast note. Sweet and light spiced. Ends with a mix of caramel malt and mellow yeast presence. A bit muddy in flavour profile, certainly not unpleasant though.

Hazy brown amber, caramel, vanilla, dark fruits, little yeasty, little spice, dry finish.

Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a rich white lasting foam. Aroma of yeast, oranges, herb sand mild cinnamon. medium to full-bodied of yeast, dried oranges, apricots and mild herbs. Smooth mouthfeel. Smooth yeasty finish of oranges, soily hops, mild cinnamon, herbs and alcohol. Quite delicious and elegant stuff.

Flavour: orange,grapefruit, and peach. High rating,the flavour is not overly sweet and has a nice hop touch in the finish.Great beer

(75 cl bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to deft!) On November 26, 2008. BB APR 2010. Cloudy, particle filled, orange color, small frizzy white head. SWeet, floral, sugary, alcohol, caramel scent. Caramel, raspberry, sweet, alcohol, yeasty taste. Bubblegum aftertaste, like classic "Hubba Bubba". Bubbly, frizzy, moussy mouthfeel, like champagne. Feels like a mix of Swedish soft drinks "Trocadero" and "Portello", with more emphasis on "Portello". Low bitterness.

Fruity aroma with notes of marzipan, chewing gum (Hubba Bubba), and earthy hops. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. Well balanced, dry finish.

Bottle. Orange-brown/amber with a thin head. Light peach sourness with citrus. Great flavor with cranberry, orange, grapefruit, and peach. Thick palate for the style. Bubbly and nicely textured. Cherry and raspberry notes open up as it warms. Very nice.
