Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

An unclear orange beer with a nice beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel while the flavor is sweet with notes of yeast and oranges.

(Bottle 75 cl) Light amber, extremely hazy from the lack of filtration. Massive and quite stable head. High on carbonation. Has the typical Baladin-touch though I’m not able to describe exactly, what it is - perhaps it’s the house-yeast? Malty, sugary but not excessively sweet and then with some hoppiness in the finish. Quite well done. 231204

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy/hazy brown/orange with an off-white head. Aroma is mild orange fruity, yeasty and slight citric. Medium body, light oily yeast/hops mouthfeel. Holds a mild orange citric note to a mild phenolic yeast note. Sweet and light spiced. Ends with a mix of caramel malt and mellow yeast presence. A bit muddy in flavour profile, certainly not unpleasant though.

Bottled (breakfast beer for me when arriving to omhper). Clear amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity and toffeish with some slight marzipan and mild fudgelike notes. Flavour is fruits, yeast, some fudge and quite much on spices. Pleasant balance. As it warms up it shows some notes of alcohol and honey as well.

Bottle, 8%. Slightly farty aroma. Hazy red colour. Quite malty flavour, getting sour at the end. The sourness seems intentional. Quite harmonious, once some of the CO2 has been shaken out. Getting some dried fruits in the finish.

Bottled. Hazy amber coloured with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel with acidic notes. Flavour of fruits and dried fruits with notes of spices and caramel.
