Smell: Sweet pale malt aroma with a vague fruitiness (figs, maybe) to it and light yeasty notes.
Taste: A light malt sweetness is instantly stolen away by a dry, funky sourness and the flavor of musty apple juice. Hints of a light spiced red wine. Quick, thin finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Moderately carbonated. Slightly watery.
Drinkability: The flavors run a bit too thin for me. I preferred the Wayan to this one. Nate (2562), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

Breaded toasty aroma with light yeasty character, some alcohol and notes of cherry. Dark amber cloudy, slightly murky, with a small frothy off-white head. Medium thin body with average carbonation and a chalky finish. Moderate sweetness with quite a kick of acidity in there, too. Lactic sourness, woody and a bit rubbery. Tinge of sour milk. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2006 Smells a little of alcohol but quite nice. Suprisingly light cloudy appearance. This starts with a pretty agreeable flavor, but it actually gets pretty dry rather quickly, which detracts the flavor that it begins with, really dragging it down. pivo (2537), Germany
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2003 Fruity nose and taste best characterizes this beer. Hazy dark orange color and a frothy head. Chewy malt body, breadlike at times, with hints of oranges and apricots and yeast. Some alcohol noticeable. On the sweet side and resembles a Belgian beer. Earthy yeast and sharp citric clash in the nose. Full bodied and smooth. Malty sweetness near the end that fades into a fusil aroma. I would never have guessed this beer was made in Italy. Way too expensive ($US 13.49/ 750ml) FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2004 Pours a hazy orange -amber color that sits under a thick tan head. This beer literally overflows the bottle because it is so carbonated. This beer has an interesting, subtle spiced aroma, but is dominated by aromas of orange and apple. The taste is lightly sweet up front and the finish is quite fruity. This has a nice sharp middle to it that is amplified by the tongue tingling carbonation. I get notes of apple orange and cinnamon. The finish has an astringent note to it, as well as a bit of spicy hotness. This beer is definitely quite nice, I like the contrasting flavors in this. Italy is definitely starting to do some interesting things. ekstedt (2447), Göteborg, Sweden
