Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Hazy golden, fluffy head. Spicy and sweet aromas. Taste is sweet fruity bread, winey, spices, apple. Sweet dry finish. Nice and mild tasting, yet full flavored - would go well with food

This brew pours with an orange amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are sweet, malty and fruity with a slight vinious note, a little spice and a touch of sourness. Medium to full bodied and amazingly smooth with a touch of dryness.

0.75 l bottle, thanks jukkabro! Hazy amber color with small beige head. Sweet, almondy and nutty aroma with hints of tropical fruits. Sweet, nutty, caramelly and fruity flavor with ripe tropical fruits, especially apricot. Nice almond liquer like aroma and flavor. A bit too sweet.

Beautiful bottle, beautiful pour...gorgeous peachy hue, with some floatabilities, running ’round, under a shockingly pristine, lacily, bubbilly, off-whitish head. Aroma: airy, other-worldly, yeastily aberrant, if you know what I mean, citric and somewhat sweetish...wonderful fruit...time to drink, isn’t it? Yum, again, if I haven’t said so before, a fully yeasty, citric bent...deliciousness abounds here...odddly, I was more impressed with the flavor of Nora, but the Super appears to be a Belgian Tripel style that falls within guidelines, but doesn’t go too much further beyond...it’s delicious, though ...enjoy it!

Been wanting to try this for a long time. Saw it in Indianapolis, and I would have picked it up back then, but I just couldn’t cram anything more in my luggage. Delighted that this has finally arrived in Richmond, courtesy of Once Upon a Vine. Medium orange copper brown, small but lasting head. Distinctly dusty and slightly smokey aroma, rather unique actually. Flavor actually matches the description by the brewer, apricots and almonds abound, really not much like the nose. Definitely a note of sourness throughout. I want cake when I drink this. Not bad at all, I appreciate the clearly Belgian influence of this beer, yet it still has its own unique thing going on.

Hazy peach color with faint white head. Spicy caramel malt nose. Apricot flavor with a light spicy body. Light finish.

Now this is an interesting beer, pouring cloudy orange with abundant dark "floaties" and a thin-medium light tan head. Rich, complex aroma of spice, layered breads, caramel, and nuts. Very yeasty. The flavor is quite complex too, with bubblegum, cotton candy, biscuit, caramel, fruits including orange peel, cracker, corn syrup and bitter phenols suggesting something Hair of the Dog would produce. However, the beer does not finish clean, leaving a musty, slightly off-putting yeasty aftertaste in the back of the mouth and throat. In fact, 20 minutes later, the taste is still in my mouth. Still worth trying if you’re interested in complex beers.

Very aromatic. Sweet fruits...cherry and strawbeery and a bit of acidic tang. Pale red/light brown with a diminishing bubbly head. A lot of honey/malt sweetness in the fore. Floral notes and a biscuity malt finish. feels like a cross between a Belgian and an English pale Ale and I really like the effect.
