Aroma is spicy peach-grape wine with a dry and yeasty astringent quality. Flavor is similar with an initial sweetness that is balanced well with a finish of some peppery hops, and some mostly dry yeast and vinous alcohol flavors. Palate is medium-bodied and dryish. I was a bit leery of Italian beer based on several previous experiences, but this attempt to imitate Belgian brewers turned out quite nicely. Still, a tad too winelike for my taste. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

Very nice citrus. Tastes of sweet fruit. I really liked this one. Second time I’ve had it. We just got it back in the store today actually at Knightly Spirits in Orlando. Huge flowery bouquet held together with sweet cherries, orange and almonds.
An interesting interpretation of a triple. It has a lot of nutty flavors especially almond on the finish. Light toasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Unbelieveably balanced. Some spicy fruitiness. Strong yeast character.
Just an amazing beer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 6, 2006 Pours a hazy medium orangish amber color. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty, with a touch of fruit. Flavor is a nice mixture of malts and fruits. Kind of thin in the finish, not something I would buy again at the price ($10.99).
