Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

750ml Bottle. Pour is an effervescent orange with plenty of bubbles. The head is a thin white layer of cream and lace. A pretty beer. The aroma is rich and malty with a good level of spice, but not overwhelming at all. This is subtle and beautiful. I’m surprised by the delicate sweetness, but the carbonation and spice cleans it up. The ratings are pretty well mixed, but I like this.

Apple skins, yeasty aroma, funky. Pours light amber. Cidery, sour, hints of spicy hops. Bottle does not say Sour Edition, but this is very sour.

Sour and fruity aroma, some yeast. Orange hazy body, big foamy head. Sour and weird flavor, maybe infected? Weird brewery!

Hazy, golden brown with a thin, white head. The aroma is very interesting. Sweet, fruity aroma with honey, doughy bread, oranges, sweet apples, floral perfume, candy sugar and a really odd plasticity that makes the aroma turn a little unpleasant. The body is really what one would expect from a Belgian, moderate thickness with a lasting finish. The sweet fruits are really prominent in the flavor with banana, honey and freshly rising bread. No sign of plasticity, which is nice. The finish has some nice hoppy bitterness to give some needed balance. Better than the Nora, but not the most outstanding Belgian.

Hazy amber. Creamy, off white head. Strawberries, yeast, malt, alcohol-aroma. Apricot, strawberries, yeast, hops, malt, dark dried fruits, alcohol, botanicals?-complex flavor. Full bodied, sparkling carbonation. Excellent.

Hazy orange - fizzy like soda pop. . . Wonderful aroma - bubble gum, sweet tart candy, and fruit. Great malts on the palate, and a very good balancing sweet sugary hops in the finish. Good balance sweet yet sour, malt with some hops. Well done.

Pours a light amber with a thick and fluffy white head. Peach and apricot aroma with a bit of sweet bread. Light and crisp flavor with hints of peach. Alcohol is masked extremely well. A good dessert beer that would do well in the summertime.
